HELLO!! After a bit of a hiatus, I’m back!! I’m going to catch up to the current week, so we’re traveling back in time to the week of November 7th and November 14th. I’m going to have a separate post for the weekends because we traveled to our first two countries together – Sweden and the Netherlands! These posts will be a little lighter, but still jam packed with places I’ve been and loved! Going forward, I’m also going to structure the titles of the posts by the date, rather than “week nine” etc. because to be honest, I’ve lost track and I’m too lazy to count (says the accountant!!!). It’ll be easier going forward too, so buckle up because I’m back! 🙂
week nine
I took it easy this week coming off the jet lag from Boston and gearing up for two travel weekends in a row (Stockholm and then Amsterdam). I got my nails done and my rug got delivered and my friends came to help me set it up. We then proceeded to drink wine and chat for hours of course! I found a cute new walking path, and I got dinner with a friend at a wonderful Austrian restaurant called Kipferl. We shared the RINDSGULASCH MIT SPÄTZLE (beef goulash) and KASPRESSKNÖDEL (cheese dumplings) both of which were delicious! We topped off dinner with gelato from Badiani Gelato, which was fantastic. It was nice to catch up with friends this week and I’m getting into more of a routine with my apartment – I’m excited to be settling in! Friday, I flew out to Stockholm which will be a separate post!

week ten
After getting back at 2 am on Monday morning from Stockholm, I was completely exhausted! I’ve signed up for HelloFresh because I need to get in the habit of cooking healthy meals for myself and I absolutely love how it’s set up. It’s the perfect amount of food for dinner & then leftovers for lunch and I really appreciate not having to go to the grocery store and mull over my meal plan for the week. It was a beautiful day on Tuesday, so I went for a long walk along my new river path and soaked up a bit of sun. Wednesday, I met my friend for wine at Shoreditch Wine House, which was so cozy (perfect for the rain we were having) and there was even a dog!! On Thursday, the town lights were lit up in celebration of Christmas! My friend and I walked around our neighborhood and visited Camden Passage (where I had been the week prior – no lights though!). It was adorable all lit up. Then we went to go see the premiere of Wakanda Forever and I sobbed, as predicted. I highly recommend the film, even though I sobbed! That was it for week ten because on Friday, we headed out to Amsterdam – separate post upcoming.

I will be back soon with more posts. Thanks for hanging in there with me 🙂
